Just another story to tell you about regarding the famous
Motel 6 chain. I am from Reno and I traveled to Riverside
California and stayed at the Motel 6 South. I arrived at
the motel and was told that my room would not be ready
until 5:00 p.m. and that I would just have to wait! The
young girl was very rude and I told her that there was no
way I was going to wait 7 hours for a room that I had
reserved a month in advance. After me and a very angry
mob of guests crowded the front desk she started calling
all of the lazy housekeepers who were on a smoke break
every15 to get us some rooms. When I finally got my room
it smelled of smoke, urine, and animal dung. I was so
furious that I just laid down and got some rest and
headed out to Fontana Raceway the next morning for the
Popsecret 500. After the awesome race, I returned to my
room and the smell about killed me, so I got curious and
pulled all of the covers completely off the bed and
discovered that the entire mattress was covered in
blood!!! Someone had obviously been shot or died on that
mattress. Upon seeing this I realized why the carpet and
bathroom floor was stained brown. I immediately took
pictures and went down to the office. I complained my
head off and finally at 11:30p.m. Sunday the young girl
at the counter gave me back my money for that night only.
Just the thought of knowing that I had slept on that
mattress the night before made me nauseous. Because of
the race/Laborday weekend there wasn't a hotel in the 100
mile radius in my price range so I had to just head home
a day early and sleep in my car! Whole weekend ruined.
When I complained on the motel 6 website, all I got was a
cheezy apology and that's it!! They didn't even care!! I
would love to show these pictures to the public!! and let
them judge for themselves. Lacy, Reno, Nv.
Carpet was
separated where it meets bathroom floor. I had stubbed my toe on
the carpet bar twice because it was lifted up. I imagine
someone's animal did this or it's just years of Motel 6 neglect
and poor management and housekeeping.

is mold! If you look where the mattress and boxspring meet, you
can see dried body fluid!!
