Motel 6 Stinks!

I found your site because I was looking for a way to contact Motel 6 to complain. I had a room reserved when I was working away from home. I am a softball umpire and the umpires association had reserved the room and secured it with a credit card. The night before I went, a fellow umpire had gone to get the room and they told him no room was available or reserved. The head umpire who had reserved the room called to verify our reservation and they assured him it would be available and was an oversight. When I arrived, it was after 12:00 am, I had been out on the ball field since 9:00 am and umpired 8 games with no break. I just wanted a shower and bed. When I inquired about my room, they said there were no rooms available. They wouldn't/couldn't explain why. There were no rooms available in the entire city OR the two with 35 miles due to "Hoop Fest", an annual event in Spokane. They would not help me to find a room, call the head umpire, call a friend, or anything. They had there wonderful security gaurd remove me from the building. I had no cash, no way to make a phone call, and was a woman alone in a big city at midnight. I ended up calling someone collect at that hour, driving 35 miles when I shouldn't have been driving, got to bed at 2:00 and needed to be up at 6:00 to be back on the field the next day. Talk about leaving the light on. I am considering a law suit against them, but thought I might try with them first. Maybe I better consider the suit. It helped to hear about others - thanks Lisa
