Three 1X3s laminated together. The ends are loose because I left room for a clean cut.
I had to remove two sections because I had placed two outside joints opposing each other. Would not have lasted long.
Pictures are overexposed due to extreme sunlight.
But you should be able to get the idea I replaced these pieces and shaped it back down again and now it looks great.
Primed with Rustoleum Protective Enamel gray primer.
Bolt rope track from an awning place, they call it "headrail." I got 17 feet of this for the mast and will get another 8 foot section for the boom.
I have to sand down the back of it and wash it with muriatic acid so the epoxy will stick.
